Julie is a freelance journalist, based in Metro Denver.  She holds two BAs and a Masters degree.  Julie started writing for newspapers at the age of 19.  Since, her features have appeared regularly in magazines, blogs and newspapers across the country.

Perpetually curious,  Julie’s immersion features have covered everything from storm chasers and dogs that multiply,  to celebrity interviews and creative non-fiction essays.  Julie is an organized storyteller, paying special attention to details, voice and character.

  • Julie once ran in a museum in Venice, wearing a USA Tack & Field suit, as part of an art in motion exhibit.
  • Julie won second place in a wing-eating contest, and has her name on a plaque on the sponsoring restaurant’s wall.
